Prices are ranges, not quotes

Every price on this site is a range collected from the Houston-metro and north Brazoria County market on the date stated with it, most of them July 2026. Ranges are published because they are more useful to a homeowner than "call for a free estimate", not because they are a commitment. Your roof has a pitch, a layer count, a decking condition and an access situation that nobody can assess from a web page. Get a written line-item scope before you budget from anything here.

This is not insurance advice

Pages on this site describe how Texas homeowners' policies, TWIA coverage, percentage deductibles, actual cash value settlement and roof payment schedule endorsements generally work. We are roofers. We are not insurance agents, adjusters, brokers or lawyers, and nothing here is advice about your particular policy. Your declarations page and your agent are the authority on what you are covered for.

References to Texas House Bill 2102, to the Texas Insurance Code, to TWIA eligibility provisions and to permitting requirements are summaries of publicly available material provided for general information. This is not engineering advice

Nothing on this site is a structural assessment. Whether a particular building can carry a tile roof, whether a deck is adequate, and whether completed work meets the windstorm building code are all determinations for a Texas licensed professional engineer or for the Texas Department of Insurance, not for a website.

Windstorm certification

WPI-8 certificates are issued by the Texas Department of Insurance. We enrol work, build to the code and coordinate inspections. TDI decides whether construction complies. Our description of the programme is drawn from TDI's own published material and TDI's material governs where the two ever differ.

No licence number is displayed, deliberately

Texas does not licence roofing contractors at the state level. There is no state roofing licence number for us or for anybody else to display, and a roofing company displaying an impressive-looking "licence number" in Texas is displaying something that is not one. The registries that do exist are the Texas Department of Insurance WPI-8 certificate search and the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas voluntary licensing programme, both linked in our footer.
