Roofing Rosharon TX is a family-run roofing company working out of the 77583 since 2012. Two trucks, a small crew that has been together long enough to know each other's habits, and a service area that stops at about thirty minutes because past that we would be selling you a promise we could not keep.
Dwayne, who runs the crews, spent nine years with one of the big Houston outfits before starting this. The specific thing he got tired of, in his words, was quoting jobs at numbers he knew were padded and then being told to push the customer to sign in the driveway that afternoon. Everything about how this company writes a quote is a reaction to that.
What we actually do
Roof replacement, roof repair and leak tracing, storm and hail damage work, emergency tarping, insurance claim documentation, windstorm inspection and WPI-8 certification, roof inspections, asphalt shingle roofing, metal roofing and standing seam, tile, slate and cedar shake, flat and low-slope roofing, commercial and industrial roofing, gutters, soffit and fascia, roof ventilation and underlayment, and annual maintenance. Residential and commercial both.
The long-tail things that do not have their own page but that we do all the time: skylight flashing, chimney reflashing, patio cover and carport roofs, ridge cap replacement, gutter guards, attic baffles, roof-mounted equipment curbs, and soft washing algae streaks off a roof that is otherwise fine.
The competition, since you are probably comparing
Amstill has been roofing Houston since 1974 and they are good. Beinert are CertainTeed Master Shingle Applicators and GAF Master Elite. Pilot, A+ and Affordable 1 all cover this area and all have real customers. None of them is a bad choice and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
What none of them does, as far as we can find, is publish a price or explain what the Brazoria County windstorm rules mean for your re-roof. That is the gap this company is built in.
A note from Dwayne
I grew up out past Sandy Point when this was all rice and cattle and the nearest thing to a subdivision was four houses on a shared drive. Spent nine years with a big Houston company doing good work for a sales operation I did not respect, and the day I finally quit was after a sales manager told a woman in Alvin her roof was totalled when I had personally walked it that morning and it had eight years left in it.
Started this in 2012 out of a garage on CR 48 with one truck and my brother-in-law Marcus, who is still here and still complaining about the heat. We do not knock on doors. We have never knocked on a door. If somebody knocks on yours after a storm and says they are from us, they are not.

Things worth knowing about how we work
- No same-day quotes on Sundays. That is when the trucks get serviced and nobody is in a fit state to measure a roof properly.
- Everything is written down. Squares, pitch, shingle by product name, underlayment spec, fastener count, decking per sheet, flashing, ventilation, disposal. If it is not on the sheet it is not in the price.
- We will tell you not to buy a roof. Somewhere between a third and half of our post-storm inspections end with the roof being fine.
- No deductible games, ever. It is a Class B misdemeanour in Texas and it is also the single clearest signal about who you are dealing with.
- The blue Ram with the ladder rack and the dent in the tailgate is Marcus. He has been asked about that dent more times than he has been asked about roofs.
How you can check us
Texas does not licence roofing contractors at state level, so there is no number for us to print and anybody printing one is printing something else. Two registries do exist and both are public.
TDI publishes every windstorm certificate ever issued, searchable by address, at the WPI-8 search. And the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas runs a voluntary licensing programme with real requirements behind it: two years of Texas experience, a fixed business address, $300,000 general liability for residential work or a $100,000 bond, workers' compensation coverage or the state No Coverage filing, and a business/safety exam plus a roofing exam at 70 percent or better. Certificate of liability insurance available on request, and asking for it is a reasonable thing to do with any contractor.
